IGT’s Global Lottery Business Rebrands as Brightstar Lottery – A New Era Begins
International Game Technology (IGT) has officially rebranded its global lottery operations as Brightstar Lottery. This change took effect immediately following the announcement on Tuesday.
The rebranding follows the completion of the sale of IGT’s gaming and digital business, known as IGT Gaming, to Voyager Parent. Voyager Parent is owned by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.
This move marks a significant milestone for IGT as it continues to evolve its business focus. Brightstar Lottery will now operate independently, with the goal to:
